About DTG Printing

Colourfiles products are created using a ‘Direct-to-Garment’, or DTG, printing method, where water-based inks are sprayed onto garments, like printing on paper, but on clothing.

Unlike with common screen printing methods, the final product of DTG printing is a light weight, smooth fabric print, sometimes described as having an ink soaked ‘vintage feel’.

Product Alternatives

Out of stock items on our site may be replaced with alternative base products. Alternatives are carefully chosen by the product managers of our trusted printers wherein they evaluate the fit, colour and quality of products to ensure the closest alternative is set. Your products will only be fulfilled with an alternative product if it’s a close alternative to the original.

About the Artist

Janet Bright is a long-time artist and illustrator who secured her first art commission decades ago, creating custom hand-painted designs on clothing and shoes.

Now, many years later, Janet continues in the business of creating custom design products with the benefit of a broader design knowledge-base, a greater skill set and extensive partnership and technological possibilities.

At Colourfiles, Janet creates colourful, fun custom designs printed on everyday items; art that will travel with you from morning until night, a reminder of the beauty, joy and potentiality of every day.

Colourfiles printers are located around the world and prints are created only when you’ve completed your order. We like this, because it reduces the waste of mass-printing and allows us to streamline your order and delivery process.
